It was an honour for me to be invited to represent the practice at the #TooManyNames campaign on the 1st December 2023. This was organised by the Bedfordshire Domestic Abuse Partnership as part of the 16 Days of Action campaign against gender-based violence.
This event was to remember the 109 women in the United Kingdom (UK) who have lost their lives to domestic abuse.
Hearing us all read out each woman’s name was a very poignant experience. It is my hope that this event should not have to happen again.
